Bio Extra

In his early days, this left sided forward played with Pollokshaws Eastwood, and after making a number of guest appearances for Levern Victoria in 1900, he became a permanent fixture at that club. Along with his Victoria teammate, Adam Turnbull, he joined the Thistle touring party for a New Years Highland jolly in late December, 1900. The Scottish Referee (7 January 1901) reported that both performed their duties creditably, and that the Partick Thistle officials were hugely pleased with the display of the juniors. He remained an integral part of the Levern team for several seasons.
