 Barr (forename unknown) was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The midfielder appeared for Thistle in July, 1889. He made his only known appearance on Saturday, 13th July, 1889, in a 4-1 neutral-venue defeat against Cowlairs in the Sir William Cunningham Cup. There were no goals for Barr in his only known appearance for Thistle. His known club-list included only Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when Barr died. *
