Archie John Lochrie was born on Monday, 10th March, 1952, in Scotland. * The 5' 8 (9st 3lbs) forward signed for Davie McParland's Thistle on Monday, 14th September, 1970, having most recently been with Cumbernauld United. Aged 21, he made his debut appearance on Wednesday, 21st March, 1973, in a 3-0 defeat at home to Dundee United in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for Archie during his spell with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Monday, 29th April, 1974, in a 2-1 win at home to Dundee United in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 3 occasions. Archie's club-list included Cumbernauld United, Partick Thistle, Queen of the South, Kirkintilloch Rob Roy, Petershill, Arthurlie and Dunipace.
