Bio Extra

This midfield playmaker came through with Thistle's youth teams, and got his chance at the highest level, making 20 top-flight appearances in 2016-17 & 2017-18. He suffered the pain of relegation in 2018, but remained involved in the Championship under Gary Caldwell in season 2018-19. He was released at the end of a disappointing season, and signed a one-year deal with Queen of the South. After several months at Palmerston, his lack of game time was frustrating for all parties, and, in the January transfer window, a move to part-time football with Peterhead was arranged. Demonstrating his good relationship with Thistle, Andy was allowed to supplement his two-nights-per-week training at Peterhead with sessions under Ian McCall's coaching team.
