 Andrew Gerard Brand was born on Sunday, 17th April, 1983, in Glasgow. The 5' 11 (10st 7lbs) defender signed for John Lambie's Thistle on Wednesday, 6th September, 2000, having most recently been with Partick Thistle Boys Club. Aged 18, he made his debut appearance on Wednesday, 18th July, 2001, in a 5-1 win at home to Alan Morgan Select in a Benefit match. There were no goals for Andy during his spell with Thistle. He played his second and last game for the club on Monday, 23rd July, 2001, in a 1-0 friendly win away to Ballymena United. Andy's club-list included Partick Thistle, Knightswood Juveniles, East Stirlingshire, Stenhousemuir, Ashfield and Irvine Meadow XI. |
