Andrew Wilson was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The forward signed for Donald Turner's Thistle in the springtime, 1944, having most recently been with Armadale Thistle. He made his debut appearance on Monday, 10th April, 1944, in a 3-3 draw away to Rangers in the Southern League. Andrew scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 18th December, 1948, in a 3-3 draw at home to Falkirk in the SFL First Division. He scored his second and final goal for the club on Saturday, 8th October, 1949, in a 3-1 win away to Raith Rovers in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for Thistle on Saturday, 31st December, 1949, in a 3-1 defeat away to Queen of the South in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 22 occasions. Andrew's club-list included Polkemmet, Newarthill Hearts, Armadale Thistle, Partick Thistle, Kilmarnock and Montrose.
