![]() Andrew Duff was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The goalkeeper probably joined Thistle in 1877. He made his first known appearance (as an outfield player) on Saturday, 9th February, 1878, scoring in a 3-0 friendly win at home to Camphill. Andrew kept his first known clean-sheet (as a goalkeeper) on Saturday, 5th April, 1879, in a 1-0 neutral-venue win against Marchton in the West Of Scotland Cup. He registered the last of his 19 known clean-sheets on Saturday, 12th February, 1887, in an 8-0 friendly win at home to St Mirren. He played his last known game for the club on Saturday, 3rd January, 1891, in a 3-2 friendly defeat away to The Wednesday, having clocked up at least 121 appearances for the Thistle. His club-list included Partick Thistle, Heart of Midlothian, St Bernard's, Abercorn and Cowlairs. We don't know where or when Andrew died. *
