1981 - GLASGOW CUP
A fighting display won the silverware as Thistle withstood Celtic's pressure. They hit the bar with a 30-yard volley (8) but their forwards couldn't find the net. The winner was a glorious goal by Jardine who took a Park pass in his stride and crashed it home from 25 yards (30) and Rough saved the day late on. |
