Allan Moore was born on Friday, 25th December, 1964, in Glasgow. The 5' 7 (10st 9lbs) forward signed for John Lambie's Thistle on Saturday, 15th July, 2000, having most recently been with Airdrieonians. Aged 35, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 22nd July, 2000, in a 0-0 friendly draw away to Derry City. Allan scored his only goal for Thistle on Saturday, 21st October, 2000, in a 3-0 win away to Stranraer in the SFL Second Division. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 5th May, 2001, in a 4-0 win at home to Stenhousemuir in the SFL Second Division, having appeared as a Jag on 24 occasions. Allan's club-list included Dumbarton, Heart of Midlothian, St Johnstone, Dunfermline Athletic, Livingston, Airdrieonians, Partick Thistle, Greenock Morton and Queen of the South. |
