 Alex Stevenson was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The defender signed for Donald Turner's Thistle on Monday, 6th May, 1935, having most recently been with Petershill. He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 10th August, 1935, in a 2-0 defeat away to Heart of Midlothian in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for Alex during his time with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Tuesday, 12th April, 1938, in a 3-1 defeat at home to Third Lanark in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 30 occasions. His club-list included Petershill and Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when Alex died. *
