 Alex Legge was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The forward first appeared for Thistle in December, 1897. He made his first known appearance on Saturday, 4th December, 1897, in a 9-1 defeat away to St Bernard's in the SFL First Division. There were no known goals for Alex during his spell with Thistle. He played his second (and last known) game for the club on Wednesday, 4th May, 1898, in a 6-1 win at home to Rugby Rovers in a Benefit match. His known club-list included only Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when Alex died. *
