 Alex Galt was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The defender signed for Donald Turner's Thistle on Friday, 2nd April, 1937, having most recently been with Arthurlie. He made his only appearance on Saturday, 11th September, 1937, in a 1-1 draw away to Clyde in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for Alex in his one-off appearance for Thistle. His club-list included Arthurlie and Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when Alex died. *
