![]() Alan Munro was born on Saturday, 22nd July, 1950, and is most likely to be Scottish. * The 5' 11 (10st 7lbs) forward signed for Davie McParland's Thistle circa Saturday, 14th October, 1972, having most recently been with Clydebank. Aged 22, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 14th April, 1973, in a 5-0 defeat away to Morton in the SFL First Division. Alan scored his only goal for Thistle on Monday, 6th August, 1973, in a 2-1 friendly win away to Stenhousemuir. That goal came in his third and final appearance for the club. Alan's club-list included Clydebank, Partick Thistle, St Mirren, Dundee United, Queen of the South and Pollok.
