Bio Extra

Wholehearted defender who joined the club from school in 1978. He made the breakthrough into the first team at the beginning of the 81/82 season, but did not appear regularly until the following season. Capable of playing either at fulI-back or centre-half. One of the few genuine Thistle fans to have played for the club in recent years. He was devastated when he was released at the end of 83/84 season. He joined Dumbarton in the Premier Division but his enthusiasm for the game was gone, and he eventually gave up the game.
