 Alan William Granger was born on Thursday, 16th September, 1971, in Glasgow. The 5' 9 (11st 0lbs) forward was a trialist for Billy Lamont's Thistle in July, 1988, and formally signed at some stage during 1989. Aged 16, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 30th July, 1988, in a 2-0 friendly win away to Alloa Athletic. There were no goals for Alan during his time with Thistle. He played his second and last game for the club on Tuesday, 7th August, 1990, in a 10-1 friendly win away to Tarff Rovers. Alan's club-list included Partick Thistle, Ashfield, Pollok and Dumbarton. |
