Alan Carson was born on Tuesday, 14th September, 1965, in Falkirk.

The midfielder signed for Derek Johnstone's Thistle circa December, 1986, having most recently been with ICI Juveniles.

Aged 21, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 13th December, 1986, in a 2-1 win away to Forfar Athletic in the SFL First Division.

There were no goals for Alan during his time with Thistle.

He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 9th May, 1987, in a 1-0 defeat away to Kilmarnock in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 15 occasions.

Alan's club-list included ICI Juveniles, Stirling Albion and Partick Thistle.

Bio Extra

Left-sided player who was fielded in the forward line, in midfield and at left-back by manager Derek Johnstone. Despite a run in the first team he was unable to show good form and was given a free transfer at the end of the season.
