Adam Gary Devine was born on Tuesday, 25th March, 2003, in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire. The 6' 0 (11st 5lbs) defender temporarily transferred to Ian McCall's Thistle on Saturday, 6th March, 2021, from his parent club, Rangers. Aged 17, he made his one and only appearance on Sunday, 14th March, 2021, in a 2-1 friendly defeat at home to Heart of Midlothian. There were no goals for Adam in his one-off game for Thistle. At February, 2025, his club-list included Rangers, Partick Thistle, Brechin City, Motherwell and Queen's Park. |
![]() This Rangers Academy graduate, a right back, was a regular in the Scottish youth sides throughout his teenage years and featured twice for the U-21 side. He signed a contract extension with Rangers until 2022 on 29 September 2020. On 6 March 2021, Devine joined Ian McCall's Thistle on loan for the rest of the season and featured in one friendly match. The move was cut short after just two weeks however, and Devine joined then League Two side Brechin City on 23 March. He made eleven league appearances for City, his first being a start in a 2-0 defeat away to Stranraer on 23 March 2021. On 8 June 2021, Devine was one of five youth players who signed new contracts at Rangers, with the former agreeing a deal to the summer of 2023. Devine made his debut for Rangers by replacing James Tavernier as a 66th minute substitute during a 2–0 win over Dundee United on 8 May 2022. A loan deal with Motherwell until the end of the season was announced on 1 February 2024. Adam is the grandson of Scottish country legend, Sydney Devine! |
