 A. Hendrie (forename unknown) was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The defender probably joined Thistle in 1885. He made his first known appearance on Saturday, 18th April, 1885, in a 4-1 neutral-venue friendly win against Pilgrims. There were no known goals for Hendrie during his spell with Thistle. He played his last known game for the club on Saturday, 29th January, 1887, in a 1-0 defeat away to Old Westminsters in the FA Cup, having appeared for the Thistle on at least 6 occasions. His known club-list included only Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when Hendrie died. *
