| – 3.00pm, Holm Park. Storey, Stanway (Nosa 79), Low (McCormick 63), Waddell, Dolan, Murray, Gray (Urse 72), Falconer, HORN, Docherty (S. Fisher 72), O'BRIEN. Unused subs: O. Fisher (GK), Campbell. Billed as a 'Partick Thistle XI' and essentially the U-19s with a hybrid managerial dugout which included Gary Irvine, Mark Wilson, Alex Rae and Kenny Arthur. |
| – Flynn O'Brien (11) opened the scoring for Thistle after some good work in the box from Tam Horn. There was a blast from Thistle past as David Syme headed in Lee Gallacher's cross (52) to equalise matters, but that man Horn had the Jags back in front (81) before Nicky Little rolled home a late leveller (85) to cap his own testimonial. It was a fruitful outing for the young Jags in front of a big crowd and they represented the club brilliantly against 5th tier opposition; Connor Storey, Steven Docherty and the tenacious Tam Horn the three standouts. |

| – 7.45pm, Auchenhowie. Storey, Rooney, Low, Allan, Waddell, Murray, O'Brien, Docherty, Horn, Falconer, Miller. Listed subs: Sloan (GK), H. Stanway, Watson, Urse, Campbell, McCORMICK, S. Fisher. Essentially an U19s joust, Thistle augmented by Storey, Horn & Falconer. |
| – A tremendous save prevented Thistle taking an early lead through Horn. Our usual 'build from deep' philosophy was stifled by an aggressive Rangers press as the home side took control and deservedly took the lead (30) with a well placed shot from 18 yards. Horn might have equalised on half-time but his effort was inches wide. Another good goal (50) meant an uphill struggle and you sensed it wasn't to be Thistle's night when the home keeper pulled off another fine save (60) and a minute later Rangers went 3 up. Sub Jake McCormick got a consolation goal from close in, but it was too little too late in the torrential rain. |
