scorers in CAPS • used subs in brackets
1. Sun-20-Aug-2006 [h] W2-0 Queen's Park (Scottish Reserve League U-19)
MP 9/9/2006. West, Anderson, Morrow, Gibb, Baird, Leitch, Coulter, Wilson, McGOLDRICK, BRIGHT, Russell. (McGhee, Raphael.)
Goals by Bright (15) and McGoldrick (29) gave the young Thistle side an early and solid start to the league campaign.
2. Sun-27-Aug-2006 [a] L1-3 Raith Rovers (Scottish Reserve League U-19)
MP 9/9/2006. GIBB (pen). Line-up as yet unsourced. MP 22/11/2006 says Wilson.
A goal by Gibb (converting a penalty, 20) gave Thistle a good start but it went badly wrong after half-time and 3 goals in 15 minutes mean an early taste of defeat.
3. Sun-03-Sep-2006 [h] L0-3 St Johnstone (Scottish Reserve League U-19)
MP 9/9/2006. Line-up as yet unsourced.
It was an easy win for St Johnstone who fielded an older and more experienced side leaving Thistle struggling to make any impact.
4. Sun-10-Sep-2006 [a] W4-1 Stirling Albion (Scottish Reserve League U-19)
MP 23/9/2006. WARREN (2), COULTER, WILSON. Line-up as yet unsourced.
A well-deserved win.
5. Sun-24-Sep-2006 [h] L0-5 Stenhousemuir (Scottish Reserve League U-19)
MP 30/9/2006. Line-up as yet unsourced.
6. Mon-25-Sep-2006 [a] L0-1 St Johnstone (Scottish Reserve League Cup Quarter Final)
MP 30/9/2006. 1st Round bye, straight to Quarter Finals. Arthur, Sives, Campbell, Brady, Keoch, Hodge, Gibson (B), Kane, McGoldrick, McConalogue, Gibson (G). (Boyd, Young, Donnelly.)
A "crowd" of 23 saw an evenly contested, the best chance fell to Gibson but it wasn't taken. Three injuries, the last when all subs had been used, didn't help the cause. Into ET St Johnstone scored (103) then McGoldrick fired over and McConalogue was denied by a fine save.
7. Sun-01-Oct-2006 [a] W3-2 Berwick Rangers (Scottish Reserve League U-19)
MP 28/10/2006. WARREN, WILSON. McGHEE. Line-up as yet unsourced.
8. Sun-08-Oct-2006 [h] L2-6 Gretna (Scottish Reserve League U-19)
MP 28/10/2006. McGOLDRICK (2). Line-up as yet unsourced.
9. Sun-15-Oct-2006 [a] W3-1 Elgin City (Scottish Reserve League U-19)
MP 28/10/2006. WARREN (2), WILSON (pen). Line-up as yet unsourced.
10. ?Sun-05-Nov-2006 [h] L1-8 Ross County (Scottish Reserve League U-19)
MP 22/11/2006. MORROW. Line-up as yet unsourced. Nominal date.
11. ?Sun-19-Nov-2006 [a] W2-1 Airdrie United (Scottish Reserve League U-19)
MP 22/11/2006. MUNRO. Line-up as yet unsourced. Nominal date.
12. Wed-06-Dec-2006 [h] L0-6 Clyde (Scottish Reserve League U-19)
CLY 2/1/2007. Line-up as yet unsourced.
A complete drubbing. Trailing 0-4 at h-t, Clyde eased off but still managed a couple more. Three injuries after they had used all but one of their subs left Clyde playing with 9 men. Perhaps just as well!
13. Sun-25-Feb-2007 [h] L0-1 Cowdenbeath (Scottish Reserve League U-19)
MP 3/3/2007. Line-up as yet unsourced.

  • Any game from this season with match data unknown is housed in the 2006-07 (Z-List) →
  • Final League Position: unknown, no table found.
  • No participation in Reserve League (West) this season. SFL U/19 league a complete mystery. Nothing in SFHA. PTFC Prog league table lists 20 teams meaning 19 matches H or A. We only have 14 matches (12 results) found. For the first 10 fixtures of the season, PTFC prog produced a league table and matches played agreed with our list. Remainder of the season had no table to refer to.
  • Unless stated otherwise, all home matches were played at McKenna Park, home to St Anthony's Juniors.
