SFL First Division Table

Relegated Clydebank and Hamilton Academical, together with promoted Meadowbank Thistle (champions) and Raith Rovers (runners-up) were the new participants. 2 points for a win. Those finishing level on points were placed in order of superior goal difference, then by goals scored. Tiers 1 & 2 were to revert back to 10-14 for next season so there was 3 down and 1 up between Tier 1 & 2. Only 1 up from Tier 2 - for the first time since Alloa Athletic were first to be automatically promoted away back in 1921-22!
