| – The Aberdeen defence looked shaky from the off. Frame hooked the ball in from a cross (12). A foul on Clark in the box saw Mackie's pen pushed on to the post but Frame fired home the rebound (22). The 2nd half was comfortable and Frame got his third (84). |

| – A shot off the crossbar hit Marr rushing in and the og put Dons ahead (1). Off-side denied them a 2-goal lead then Thistle enjoyed a good spell but a well-placed header (40) made it 2-0 at h-t. Thistle dictated play and were thwarted by some outstanding goalkeeping. Clark hit the post (60) but there was no way back into it. |
