ET 21/12/1964. Gray, Campbell, Muir, Ferguson, STAITE, Gibb, Rae, PEACOCK (2), BROWN, FLEMING, O'Brien.
Off-side denied Airdrie an early lead then Brown's header was expertly saved. The opener came when Brown fired home an O'Brien cross (23). Report only to h-t.
25. Sat-28-Dec-1963 [h] D1-1 Aberdeen (Scottish Reserve League)
ET 28/12 & APJ 30/12/1963. Gray, Campbell, Muir, McColl, Gibb, Wright, Rae, Peacock, Brown, Hume, O'BRIEN.
Continuous Thistle pressure paid off and O'Brien was well placed to finish off a Rae cross (23). Aberdeen equalised two minutes later when Gray let a 30-yard shot trickle over the line. Aberdeen earned the point mainly due to excellent goalkeeping after half-time.
26. Sat-11-Jan-1964 [h] L2-4 Rangers (Scottish Reserve League)
ET 11/1/1964. Ramsay, Campbell, Wright, McColl, Newman, Ferguson, RAE, Peacock, Newman, Newman, Hume. Remaining scorer as yet unsourced.
After constant Rangers pressure Thistle broke up field and Rae scored from a Hume cross (5). He went close soon after. It was a false dawn however and goals 34 ,40 and 43 put Rangers in a strong position at the interval. Report only to h-t.

Peacock's deflected free-kick gave Thistle the lead (2) and when the Queens keeper failed to hold a shot, Staite hammered the ball home (10). Davidson and Henderson made it 4 in a one-sided first half. Report only to h-t.
40. Mon-06-Apr-1964 [a] W2-1 Celtic (Scottish Reserve League)
GH 7/4/1964. DAVIDSON, FERGUSON (pen). Line-up as yet unsourced.

ET 25/4/1964. Wilson, Welsh, Gibb, FERGUSON (pen), McKinnon, Staite, Muir, Heaney, Newman, Tinney, Hume. Remaining scorer as yet unsourced.
Football of any decent standard was almost impossible on the near-waterlogged pitch. When Hume was fouled in the box Ferguson tucked the penalty away. Airdrie missed a sitter to equalise soon after. Report only to h-t.
46. Mon-27-Apr-1964 [a] D0-0 Rangers (Scottish 2nd XI Cup Final, 2nd leg)
GH 28/4/1964. Agg 1-4. Gray, Campbell, Gibb, McColl, McKinnon, Ferguson, Muir, Closs, Staite, Fleming, Rae.
Thistle were seldom in this game in an attacking sense. Even when they were, the forwards were ineffectual. Mostly forced back in defence, McKinnon plugged defensive gaps everywhere. The wonder was Rangers (Reserve League Champions) didn't manage to score.
47. Wed-29-Apr-1964 [h] W3-2 Falkirk (Scottish Reserve League)
