1. Sat-22-Aug-1914 [a] W2-1 Stevenston United (Scottish Reserve League)
SR 24/8/1914. HARRIS, DUNN. Line-up as yet unsourced.
The first half was fast and furious with play raging end to end. Stevenston got their noses in front just on half-time. Colquhoun had some good saves and eventually Thistle got on top. Clever play set up Harris and Dunn scored near the end.
2. Sat-29-Aug-1914 [h] W3-0 Falkirk (Scottish Reserve League)
FH 2/9/1914. Colquhoun, Gafferty, Dunn (J), Gallagher, Hamilton, Lowry, McINTYRE, HYNDS (2), Smith, Gifford, Dunn (A).
The goalless first half saw Falkirk have the early play but their shooting was poor. Thistle came into it but their forwards were no better. Hynds converted a Dunn cross. Falkirk almost levelled then Hynds scored at a corner. McIntyre sealed the win.
3. Sat-05-Sep-1914 [a] L3-4 Queen's Park (Scottish 2nd XI Cup 1st Round)

5. Sat-26-Sep-1914 [a] D1-1 Kilmarnock (Scottish Reserve League)
KH 2/10/1914. HARRIS. Line-up as yet unsourced.
Evenly contested, Kilmarnock took the lead but Harris equalised soon after. The second half was goalless thanks to a fine save by Colquhoun near the end to deny Kilmarnock a winner.
6. Sat-10-Oct-1914 [a] D0-0 Dumbarton Harp (Scottish Reserve League)
SR 12/10/1914. Line-up as yet unsourced. Line-up included Colquhoun, Lowry, Dunn (J), Harris, McIntyre, Dunn (A) and McGowan.
An even first half was closely contested but goalless. Harp edged the second half but poor finishing let them down.
7. Sat-17-Oct-1914 [a] L2-4 Heart of Midlothian (Scottish Reserve League)
EEN 17/10 & SR 19/10/1914. Colquhoun, McKenzie, Dunn (J), Harris (J), Lowry, Gardiner, ARMSTRONG, Hynds, HARRIS (W), McIntyre, Dunn (A). Hearts had 3 trialists playing - "Newman", "Over" and "Blank"!
Thistle gave a good account of themselves but Hearts chose to produce one of their best performances of the season. Thistle led 2-1 at half-time with goals from Harris and Armstrong but Hearts were too good for them on the day.
8. Sat-31-Oct-1914 [a] W1-0 Falkirk (Scottish Reserve League)
FH 4/11/1914. ARMSTRONG. Line-up as yet unsourced.
It was even for a spell then Harris rattled the crossbar. Thistle got on top but the Falkirk defence held out until half-time. Armstrong “got clean away” and scored the only goal (75). Falkirk rallied but Thistle just about deserved both points.
9. Sat-07-Nov-1914 [h] W3-2 Stevenston United (Scottish Reserve League)
SR 9/11/1914. HARRIS (2). Line-up and remaining scorer as yet unsourced. Line-up also included McMillan, McBride and Armstrong. RIP "The SR" newspaper 1888-1914.
Thistle started brightly but found themselves 1-down. Rather against the run of play they equalised nearing half-time. Lowry failed to re-appear but Harris scored (51) then Thistle got on top and he scored again.
10. Sat-21-Nov-1914 [a] L2-3 Ayr United (Scottish Reserve League)

15. Sat-09-Jan-1915 [a] L0-2 Motherwell (Scottish Reserve League)
MT 15/1/1915. Line-up as yet unsourced.
It was goalless at half-time despite some determined attacks by both sides. Thistle's wingers were a constant threat but finishing was weak and they paid the price with two goals from a goalmouth scramble and from long range.
16. Sat-23-Jan-1915 [a] W5-2 Queen's Park (Scottish Reserve League)
DR 25/1/1915. LOWRY (5). Line-up as yet unsourced.

Play was largely confined to midfield but Motherwell had the best of the chances and took a 2-goal lead at half-time. Thistle had a better spell but couldn't beat the visiting keeper until Hynds scored following a defensive mistake.

A good hard game, evenly balanced. Rovers took the lead (10) but Taylor scored following a corner with just a hint of off-side. Give and take play continued to the end with good forward play and good goalkeeping by both teams.
