– KH 2/10/1914. HARRIS. Line-up as yet unsourced.
– Evenly contested, Kilmarnock took the lead but Harris equalised soon after. The second half was goalless thanks to a fine save by Colquhoun near the end to deny Kilmarnock a winner.
6. Sat-10-Oct-1914 [a] D0-0 Dumbarton Harp (Scottish Reserve League)
– SR 12/10/1914. Line-up as yet unsourced. Line-up included Colquhoun, Lowry, Dunn (J), Harris, McIntyre, Dunn (A) and McGowan.
– An even first half was closely contested but goalless. Harp edged the second half but poor finishing let them down.
7. Sat-17-Oct-1914 [a] L2-4 Heart of Midlothian (Scottish Reserve League)
– EEN 17/10 & SR 19/10/1914. Colquhoun, McKenzie, Dunn (J), Harris (J), Lowry, Gardiner, ARMSTRONG, Hynds, HARRIS (W), McIntyre, Dunn (A). Hearts had 3 trialists playing - "Newman", "Over" and "Blank"!
– Thistle gave a good account of themselves but Hearts chose to produce one of their best performances of the season. Thistle led 2-1 at half-time with goals from Harris and Armstrong but Hearts were too good for them on the day.
8. Sat-31-Oct-1914 [a] W1-0 Falkirk (Scottish Reserve League)
– FH 4/11/1914. ARMSTRONG. Line-up as yet unsourced.
– It was even for a spell then Harris rattled the crossbar. Thistle got on top but the Falkirk defence held out until half-time. Armstrong “got clean away” and scored the only goal (75). Falkirk rallied but Thistle just about deserved both points.

15. Sat-09-Jan-1915 [a] L0-2 Motherwell (Scottish Reserve League)
– MT 15/1/1915. Line-up as yet unsourced.
– It was goalless at half-time despite some determined attacks by both sides. Thistle's wingers were a constant threat but finishing was weak and they paid the price with two goals from a goalmouth scramble and from long range.

– DR 25/1/1915. LOWRY (5). Line-up as yet unsourced.
