| 1. Sat-22-Sep-1906 [h] L0-1 Rangers (Scottish 2nd XI Cup 1st Round) |
| – SR 24/9/1906. Muncie, Harvey, McKenzie, Wilson (W), Walker, Wilson (H), Doherty, Sommen, Smith, Queen, Muirhead. |
| – A big crowd saw Thistle have good spells of pressure - particularly down the right. A long shot was parried by Muncie and it came back out to be fired home at the second attempt. Thistle continued to have as much of the play but couldn't score. |
| 2. Sat-06-Oct-1906 [h] W3-1 Clyde (Friendly) |
| – SR 8/10/1906. Howden, Lawson, McKenzie, Wilson (W), Melville, Wilson (H), Doherty, Muirhead, Smith, Queen, Alexander. Scorers as yet unsourced. |
| – This low key affair was “quiet but interesting”. Thistle took the lead and Clyde were unlucky not to level by half-time. The second half favoured Thistle who went 3-0 up before Clyde pulled one back. |

| – The first half belonged to the visitors. They were unlucky not to be a couple of goals ahead by half-time. The Thistle defence was sorely pressed. Although not quite as impressive after half-time Wishaw were still the better team despite not scoring. |

| – SR 19/11/1906. Howden (J), Jackson, Barr, Wilson, Melville, Allan, Doherty, Munro, Muirhead, Queen, McGREGOR. Remaining scorers as yet unsourced. |
| – Kilwinning were the better team and Howden saved Thistle several times. It was however Thistle who went ahead through McGregor (“a clever long shot”) only to be 3-1 down at half-time. A rather soft goal and a third from a corner made it 3-3 very late on. |

| – SR 3/12/1906. Howden (J), Muirhead, McKenzie, Wilson (W), Melville, Wilson (H), Sommen, Munro, Stewart, Leitch (J), Doherty. Scorers as yet unsourced. |
| – Thistle had the best of things and led 2-0 at half-time (the 2nd goal a penalty). Rangers improved and deservedly reduced the lead, only for Thistle to score again. Rangers hit back with two goals to finish the game an equitable draw. |

| – HH 8/5/1907. McArthur, Watson, Watt, Gibson, Gilchrist, Wilson, Sommen, CAMPBELL (pen), Leitch, Gray, Buckton. |
| – The first half was a tale of 3 penalties. McArthur saved 2 and Campbell scored his for a half-time lead. The second half was almost one-way traffic towards McArthur. Shots rained in until he was eventually beaten. The teams traded chances until the end. |
