The 30th season of Partick Thistle F.C.

1. Thu-25-Aug-1904 [a] D0-0 Cambuslang Rangers (Masonic Lodge Fundraiser)

SR 3/10/1904. Wilkie, Jackson, Wilson, GILLIGAN, Shannon, Gray (W), Proudfoot, DRUMMOND, REID, Walker, Williams.
There was a tame start but things improved when Reid scored (15). After several near misses the visitors scored. Drummond scored after half-time and while Thistle were on top, a breakaway led to an equaliser but a penalty by Gilligan made it 3-2.
3. ?Sat-15-Oct-1904 [a] L?-? Third Lanark (Scottish 2nd XI Cup 1st Round)
SFHA. Score not known. Lost. Nominal date.

5. Sat-05-Nov-1904 [n] L0-2 Queen's Park (Glasgow 2nd XI Cup Final)
SR 7/11/1904. Duncan, McFarlane, Gray, McDonald (W), Shannon, Conner, Tennant, Higson, Reid, Hamilton McDonald (J). Final held over from 1903-04 as Thistle were unable to field a team on the day. (Played at Celtic FC.) No trace found of any previous rounds.
The final was not one of high quality but it was closely contested. Thistle gave a good account of themselves but ultimately the Stollers were that bit better.
6. Wed-04-Jan-1905 [a] D2-2 Stranraer (Friendly)
DR 5/1/1905. Wilkie, McClay, Gillespie*, McDonald, Kennedy, Gray, McInnes, Wallace, BLACK (2), McAllister*, Inglis. *Guested from Queen's Park. The Thistle kit hamper went missing and the local team helped out.
An interesting game to finish the New Year holidays. Black gave Thistle an early lead but by half-time they were 2-1 down. He scored again in the second half. Thistle missed a penalty at some point in the match.
7. Sat-11-Mar-1905 [h] W5-2 Glasgow Perthshire (Friendly)
SR 13/3/1905. Wilkie, Arnott, Wilson (A), Williams, Forsyth, Smith, Lawrie, Wilson (W), Reid, Hamilton, Tennant. Scorers as yet unsourced.
Strong defending by Perthshire meant that it was nearing half-time before Thistle broke their duck. They dominated almost all of the second half and went 5-up before Perthshire scored a couple of late goals.
8. Sat-18-Mar-1905 [a] D1-1 Clydebank Juniors (Friendly)
HA. Line-up as yet unsourced. REID.
9. Sat-25-Mar-1905 [a] D1-1 Morton (Friendly)
SR 27/3/1905. FERGUSON. Line-up as yet unsourced, but also included Smith, Andrew and Forsyth.
In dreadful weather on a pitch that cut up badly, Ferguson gave Thistle the lead but it was level at 1-1 by half-time. Both teams has good chances to go in front but the keepers were a match for their efforts. A fair result.
10. Thu-06-Apr-1905 [h] L2-3 Glenbuck (Friendly)
SR 10/4/1905. Strachan, Davidson, Wallace, Gilmour, Forsyth, Colborn, Tennant, Wilson, Miller, Williams, Hamilton. Scorers as yet unsourced.
With several untried youngsters, Thistle found Glenbuck a tough Ayrshire nut to crack. They found themselves down 2-1 at half-time. The second half was even - each team scored once.
11. Sat-22-Apr-1905 [a] L1-3 East Fife (Friendly)
LVA 27/4/1905. Wilkie, Dishart*, Smith, Walker, Forsyth, Gray, Tennant, Hamilton (J), Millar, Hamilton (W), FERGUSON. Thistle only took 10 players. *Dishart was drafted in from Methil FC.
Thistle made good use of the wind and Ferguson shot home a parried shot. East Fife equalised then Thistle unaccountably had a goal disallowed. After half-time the Fifers revelled in the strengthening wind, Thistle struggled and went 3-1 down (the third a pen).
12. Sat-06-May-1905 [a] L2-3 Kilmarnock (Friendly)
HA. Line-up and scorers as yet unsourced.
13. Sat-13-May-1905 [a] L0-2 Dunblane (Friendly)
DR 15/5/1905. Line-up unsourced.
