3. Sat-24-Jan-1903 [h] L1-3 Third Lanark (Glasgow 2nd XI Cup Semi Final)
SR 26/1/1903. Gilchrist, Millen (R), Polland, Wilson, Harris, Thomson, McDonald (W), GRAY, Douglas, Strathearn, Jamieson. Gilchrist was the PTFC Secretary. He saved a penalty. Thought to have been the Semi Final (i.e. 1st Round) as per recent seasons, but it's not entirely clear.
Thistle took time to get into the game and soon play was even but Thirds took a first half lead. Gray equalised just after half-time but Thirds moved up a gear and went ahead from a corner. A goalmouth scramble produced a third goal and a cup exit.
4. Wed-06-May-1903 [h] W3-1 Scottish Amateur XI (Masonic Provincial Annuity Fundraiser)
EEN 7/5/1903. Line-up and scorers as yet unsourced. Fund raiser for Masonic Provincial Annuity Fund. Team selection was in conjunction with Rockbank players.
