6. Sat-07-Nov-1885 [a] L1-3 Airdrieonians (Friendly)
LUWE 14/11/1885. Line-up and scorer as yet unsourced. Thistle players argued the score was 2-2 (3rd goal disputed). 1-3 confirmed by the referee but 2-3 judging by number of kick-offs.
The Thistle keeper was “charged” early on, dropped the ball and it was 1-0. A header made it 2-0 but a back-heel at a scrimmage reduced the lead. Thistle claimed another goal and threatened to walk off. Airdrie restarted the game and scored again before half-time - Thistle disputing it as well.
7. Sat-12-Dec-1885 [h] W?-? Renton (Scottish 2nd XI Cup 2nd Round)

GEP 6/3/1886. Line-up and scorers as yet unsourced.
